Abstract

Two transparent hemisperes-domes (1,2) manufactured from some strong polymorphic material (e.g. plastic or other) are joined together using screws so as to form a sphere. Along the equestrian level of one of the hemisphere, is attached which bears an inverted carved model (6) of the body of a neonate or baby, centrally, wherein the patient is accomodated. On either side of the model and at a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis and in contact with it, longitudinal incisions-slots (18,19) exist, where the radiogram tape is placed for taking profile radiograms, whereas another slot (5) is fitted at the back of the model for taking face radiograms. Each hemisphere-dome bears at its top an opening-slot (8,9) for taking care of the patient and for the operation of the radiogram tape. The overall unit is seated by gravity inside a special concave reception, as an egg inside the egg holder. The edge-base (4) consists of the concave reception (13) and the horizontal plate (14), as a unified unit for the safe support. The sphere rotates freely, for taking radiograms at any desired projection.
