Abstract

1518108 Car cots for infants BRITAX (WINGARD) Ltd 1 March 1976 [11 March 1975] 10060/75 Addition to 1478323 Heading A4J A cot of the kind broadly disclosed in U.K. Parent Specification is modified by the inclusion of a support frame 8, 9, 10 on which the enclosure 1 is supported for its pivotal motion, whereby the enclosure can return to its normal orientation subsequent to a deceleration. As shown the enclosure has a pair of axially extending spigots 4, 5 which pivotally engage in the frame uprights 8, 9, and which are restrained by quick release fastenings 14 on seat belts 13. The uprights 8, 9 may be configured to allow the enclosure complete freedom of rotation about the spigots 4, 5 without contact with the seat under conditions of both acceleration and deceleration. Stops may be provided to limit the amount of rotation if required.
