Abstract

1401240 Child carrier CROSS RIVER PRODUCTS Inc 1 Nov 1972 [10 Nov 1971] 50271/ 72 Heading A3V [Also in Division A4] A child carrier comprises a frame 14, adapted to be strapped to the back of an adult by a harness 28, 30, 32, 34 and provided with a seat sling 26 for a child, and a frame support tube 20 pivotally mounted at 16 on the frame 14 for movement between a closed position, as shown, when the carrier is worn by an adult and an open position in which the carrier serves as a chair. The ends of the support tube 20 are mounted in yokes 16 wherein stop rivets 54 define the open position of the tube. A resilient plastics clip 18 secures the support tube in its closed position.
