869,441. Sun visors. FINGSCHEIDT G.m.b.H., F. Dec. 8, 1959, No. 41632/59. Class 103(2). A sun visor fitting 1, securable by screws 2 to a vehicle, has a bracket member 1 for supporting a rear-view mirror (not shown) and a hole 4 drilled therein and parallel to the underface of the base of the fitting, the hole receiving the ends 5 of the rods of a pair of sun visors, each rod end having a transversely cut trough-shaped slot engaged by a tapershank screw 7 screwed into the base. A centrally arranged pin 8 passing transversely across the hole limits the depth of insertion of each rod end 5. The taper-shank screws 7 may be disposed vertically in the base, instead of as shown.
