1,089,754. Sun visors of vehicles. GEBR. HAPPICH G.m.b.H. Feb. 3, 1965 [May 8, 1964], No. 4707/65. Heading B7J. [Also in Division E2] A quick-release spindle mounting fixture primarily for the spindle 3 of a sun visor, Fig. 8 (not shown), of a vehicle comprises a hollow body 1 of polyethylene open at one face 17 and having a narrow slot 9 communicating with a cylindrical space 8 to receive the spindle, and a flange 5 for mounting the fixture on a vehicle, hollow cheeks 6, 7 on either side of the slot 9 being resiliently supported by tongues 15, 16 of a metal frame 2 inserted into the body 1 through the open face 17. The fixture is anchored to the vehicle (not shown) by screws (not shown) passing through body holes 22, 23 and frame holes 20, 21. A slot (25), Figs. 4-6 (not shown), extends through the bridge 10 of the frame 2 and part of the sides 11, 12 of the frame 2 to increase flexibility thereof.
