Abstract
869,244. Maturing cream. BERGEDORFER EISENWERK AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT ASTRAWERKE. July 23, 1959 [July 29, 1958], No. 25253/59. Class 84. The cream is cooled by extracting heat from its interior either by the melting or sublimation of cold carriers such as ice or dry ice added to it or by vaporisation under a vacuum corresponding to the vapour pressure at the desired cooling temperature. Apparatus for the latter method comprises a vessel 1 exhausted by a pump 9 through a condenser 10. The vessel is fed through a pipe 5, with valve 6, and ultimately discharged through a pipe 12, with valve 13, by a pump 11. The pipes 12 and 5 may be connected so that the cream can be circulated.
