868,917. Floatable drilling rig. JERSEY PRODUCTION RESEARCH CO. July 7, 1959 [Dec. 15, 1958], No. 23286/59. Classes 113 and 114. An apparatus for moving a drilling rig from one marine location to another comprises portions 1 and 2, upon which a yoke 9 is supported by hydraulic jacks 5, 6, 7 and 8, and a substructurel 14 which is detachably supported by the yoke 9 and which carries the rig 13 and 15, The yoke 9 comprises two legs 10 and 11 which extend beyond the pier sides of the pontoons 1 and 2 respectively and a midsection 12, the whole being adopted to be moved up and down by the jacks 5, 6, 7 and 8. At each end of the pontoons 1 and 2 are water passage ways 20, 21, 22 and 23 which are positioned at 45 degrees to the longitudinal vertical plane and below the horizontal plane pushing through the diameter of the portion containing within reversible propellers 24, 25, 26 and 27.
