Abstract

868,383. Fibre containers. METAL CONTAINERS Ltd. Jan. 11, 1960 [Feb. 18, 1959], No. 5590/59. Classes 66 and 125(3). A fibre container 1 has its open end reinforced by a metal ring 2. A container lid 3 has a peripheral groove 4 which engages a circumferential rim 5 on the container. The lid is provided with an annular groove 9 which serves as a seating for a washer 10 which in the closed position of the lid, engages part of an internal rib 8 in the container. A closing ring 6 secures the lid to the container.
