Class 86 [Also in Group XXIV] In a vibrator for consolidating concrete &c. comprising a sleeve 11 connecting upper and lower end caps 12, 13 and housing an electric motor 19, vibrations are generated by a ball 31 which is rolled around an annular track 30 in the cap 13 by a tang 40 extending eccentrically from a driver 32 on the motor shaft, the tang being counterbalanced by a thickened segment 39 of the driver 32.
