Class 52(3) A table has a top surface 5 mounted on rollers 6, 8 which run in a horizontal plane along the slots 10, 11 in the side rails 4 which are held by the end rails 3 and legs 1. A slidable leaf 12 is mounted on the rollers 13, 14 which run in the slots 16 and fits under the top surface in the normal position and on movement of the top surface past the extended position (as in Fig. 2) the leaf can slide along the slot 16 and engage the pocket 21 formed at the end of the slot so as to be on the same level as the top surface 5 which is held in the normal and extended positions by the bolt 22 engaging the holes 23 and 24.
