Abstract

865,535. Shaft linings. GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE STERKRADE A. G. May 8, 1957 [May 8, 1956], No. 14700/57. Class 85. A shaft lining comprises an inner cylinder 1 having concrete-anchoring pins 10 connected thereto by electrical resistance butt welding and an outer cylinder 2 which may likewise be provided with pins 11, each cylinder being made up from arcuate sections which are circumferentially and longitudinally welded together (see Figs. 1, 5 - 8 not shown). The pins may be formed with an integral, tapered or bent-over head portion and may be cross-knurled or provided with helical knurling, (see Figs. 9 - 13 respectively not shown). Dimensions are given in the Specification.
