Abstract
864,112. Tractor power lifts. MASSEYFERGUSON (UNITED KINGDOM) Ltd. June 25, 1957 [July 4, 1956], No. 20698/56. Class 79(1). A support for the power-lift links of a tractor comprises a pair of arms 21 carrying abutments 29, 30 which engage under extensions 41 on the pins 40 to which the drop links 17 and lift arms 12 are connected. The abutments are adjustable in position and the arms 27 at their lower ends are connected by a tube 26 which is supported in a tube 25 secured to links 24 pivoted on the pin 23 carried by the tractor. When the crank arms 18 are raised by hydraulic means the pins 41 engage the inclined surfaces 34 on the abutments to rotate the arms 27 clockwise against the action of the spring 39 so that the support may be engaged automatically on subsequent lowering of the crank arms. To disengage the support the arms 27 are rotated by the handle 38 accessible from the driver's seat.
