[Also in Group XXX] A device for withdrawing a preparatory tube 13 used for casting a concrete pile in-situ comprises a platform 8 and a winch 10, which winds up the cable from a block and tackle 11. The runner of this block and tackle is connected to a reversed single pulley block or tackle 12 of which the pulling cable is connected to the lower end of the tube 13. The ratio of the two tackles is such that their total travel is half the length of the tube.
