Abstract

862,034. Semi-conductor devices. ERICSSON TELEPHONES Ltd. Oct. 13, 1959 [Dec. 5, 1958], No. 39280/58. Class 37. During the production of a photo-conductive cell of the type in which a fine gap in a conductive layer on an insulating base is filled with photo-conductive material, conductive material remaining in the gap after it is scribed and before it is filled with the photo-conductive material is removed by connecting the conductors each side of the gap to a voltage sufficient to burn off such conductive material. This material may be aluminium and the two sides of the gap may be interdigitated.
