859,199. Road-vehicle independent wheelsuspensions. LANGEN, V. Dec. 2, 1958 [Dec. 11, 1957], No. 38875/58. Class 108(2). [Also in Group XXV] Extensions 4 of a king pin 1 of an independent road wheel suspension each carry a ball member 5 of a ball joint (see Group XXV) the socket member 9 of which is rigid with a wishbone link 10. The end 4a of the extension 4 may be radiussed so as to engage the spherical surface of the member 9. Alternatively the end surface of a retaining nut 6 may be radiussed to serve this function.
