A fastening-device for attachment to an apertured-support comprises an outer-element 10 having a body for entering the aperture from one side of the support and a shoulder for bearing on said one side of the support, an inner-element 14 journalled in the outer-element, the two elements having portions 20, 24, spaced from the shoulder on the body of the outer-element and extending laterally outwardly beyond the body, the rotatable relationship of the elements permitting the two portions when adjacent one another to be introduced through the aperture to extend beneath the opposite-side of the support, the portions after subsequent relativerotation of the elements abutting said oppositesides of the support on opposite-sides of the aperture. The support may consist of two plates N, F, as shown, or a single plate. The two portions are in the form of hooks and the hook of the outer-element has teeth 26 to impede rotation of the element relative to the support. The two elements are prevented from axial-displacement by a lug 18 on the inner-element which engages the end having the hook of the outer-element, the other-end of the inner-element having a flange 16 which bears on a flange 12 of the outer-element. The flange 12 forms the shoulder which bears on the face of the support remote from the face engaged by the hooks. Rotation of the two elements beyond the position in which the hooks are opposite each other is prevented by the lug 18 engaging the hook of the outer-element. The inner-element has a wall at the flanged-end which has a straightsided-depression 30 by which the element can be turned relative to the outer-element.
