Abstract

A modification of or improvement in the preparation for bleaching the skin as claimed in claims 1 to 3 of the parent Specification in which the material capable of bleaching the pigment in the skin is aqueous sodium hypochlorite present in a proportion equivalent to from 1 1/4 to 4 3/4 parts by weight of a 5,25% aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite based on 10 parts by weight of the final preparation. The preferred quantity is 3 1/4 parts by weight in 10 parts by weight of the final preparation.
