Abstract

856,217. Purifying liquefied gases. BRITISH OXYGEN GASES Ltd. Aug. 12, 1959 [Aug. 15, 1958], No. 26305/58. Class 8(2). A liquid oxygen connecter has a breakable heat inflow bridge comprising a metal portion 20 secured to the underside of the liquefied gas container wall 11 and a metal rod 21 having a head 22 engageable with the portion 20 and extending through the insulation jacket and the outer wall 10 of the container and secured to a bellows 26 connected by a duct 18 to the gas delivery line 13, Fig. 2 (not shown), whereby the bridge is automatically made and broken in accordance with the delivery pressure. Recharging of the container is effected without depressurization through a filler valve.
