Class 17(2) A footwear cushion consists of a foam core 11 which is glued by its flat underside to the insole of the shoe and is peripherally covered by thin leather material 12 in order to assist the wearer's foot to slide into the shoe. The exposed upper surface of the foam cushion is roughened to prevent the shoe sliding on the foot when it is being worn.
