A container for use with a suspension filing system as claimed in the parent Specification is collapsible and formed from a single piece of suitable material, e.g. cardboard or press-spahn, removable means being provided to keep the container in its erected condition. The container comprises side walls 1, 2, a bottom 3 and a narrow rear wall formed by two over-lapping portions 4a and 4b (see Fig. 2 which shows the container in its collapsed condition), these parts being connected by folds 5. A hanger 6 is used to suspend the container from rails as described in the parent Specification and to secure the container in its erected condition. The top edges of the overlapping portions 4a, 4b are gripped in a U-shaped part 7, Fig. 4, of the hanger and a tongue 8 of the hanger extends downwards inside the container. Studs 9 on the tongue 8 pass through registering apertures in the portions 4a, 4b, thereby locking the portions together. In a modification the tongue 8 may be bent so as to form a resilient loop which extends through registering rectangular apertures in the portions 4a, 4b. In a further modification the tongue 8 has a cranked end which extends through apertures in the portions 4a, 4b and bears resliently against the inside of the rear wall of the container, a stud similar to the studs 9 also being provided.
