Abstract
852,477. Watch bearings. ETABLISSEMENTS E. JAEGER. July 16, 1957 [July 20, 1956; June 17, 1957], No. 22546/57. Class 12 (1). A mounting for the through-stone 21 and endstone 20 of a watch bearing comprises a cupshaped member 15 of resilient material such as rubber or synthetic plastic. The stones 20, 21 are separated by a flange 22. The member 15 is retained in a housing 9a by a washer 16 which is held in position by tags 17. A similar arrangement is provided at the other end of the balance staff 1. In a modification, an annular resilient member 48 has a central bevelled portion 49 which supports an end-stone 50 and a collar 51 containing a through-stone 52. The collar 51 has a truncated conical portion 57 which centres the bearing on the housing 46.
