Abstract
851,689. Windscreen cleaners. SWFSPEZIALFABRIK FUR AUTOZUBEHOR G. RAU. G.m.b.H. June 15, 1959 [June 20, 1958], No. 20338/59. Class 138(1). A liquid container for a vehicle windscreen washing apparatus is made of a flexible synthetic resin and has at least one wall surface provided with formations adapted to receive, or be received by, complementary formations in the structure of motor vehicle so as to be held tightly in position within said structure. If the container is to be held between a wall portion of the vehicle and a vertical bracing member the wall 11 of the container intended to face the vehicle wall may have a projection or recess 13 adapted to engage a corresponding recess or projection in the wall portion, and the opposite wall of the container may have two spaced projections 13<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 2 (not shown), between which the bracing member is engaged. The container is provided with a flexible tube 9, leading to the washing apparatus, and a filling opening 2 provided with a closure cap 3. To fill the container liquid is formed through a funnel 4 having a pendant flexible hose 6 and supported on an annular flange 5 in the opening 2. The funnel 4 may be withdrawn to facilitate the filling operation, the complete removal of the flexible tube 6 from the container being prevented by a flange 7 at its inner end.
