Abstract
851,527. Clocks. JUNGHANS A. G. GEB., and JUNGHANS, H. March 1, 1957 [March 3, 1956], No. 6924/57. Addition to 773,379. Class 139 The floating balance assembly 12, 13, 14, Fig. 3, is carried by a metallic or plastic one-piece moulded or cast block 10, the arm 10a of which carries the upper bearing and the arm 10b of which carries the magnet 20 which co-acts with a magnet 18 on the balance staff. The arm 15a, Fig. 4, of the index 15 has a depending pin 23 which engages a screwed spindle 16 rotation of which adjusts the index. The spindle 16 is supported by two flanges 10c, 10d, and is adjustable with respect to a scale 10c<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 3, on the flange 10c. In a modification the index has an arm which abuts a fine adjustment screw. In still another example the index has a gear segment which meshes with the screwed spindle or with a gear connected to a pointer movable over a scale.
