851,403. Anchor bolts &c. ANSTALT FUR MONTAGE TECHNIK. Oct. 18, 1956, No. 31799/56. Class 89(1). An anchor-bolt for driving into concrete, structural-metalwork &c., comprises a smooth shank-part 3 with a penetrating-nose 2, and a screwed shank-part 10 which remains protruding when part 3 is driven in. The thread is so formed that an imaginary-surface 4, including the bottoms of the threads adjacent part 3, is conical to provide a gradual-transition from part 10 to part 3. Similarly, the crests of these threads are included in an imaginary conical-surface 5. The crests of all the threads may be truncated. Specification 793,932 is referred to.
