Abstract
850,314. Ingot moulds. MANNESMANN A.G. Jan. 29, 1957 [Feb. 10, 1956], No. 3134/57. Class 83 ( 1 ). Pouring-heads are shaped in situ in the mould and vibrated from within the mould. Refractory is tamped down around a pattern 14, loaded with a counterweight 20, and vibrated by vibrators 18 in the pattern. The pouring- head may be formed within a cope for the chill-mould, and need not be fired.
