Abstract
847,187. Manicuring appliances. BREUHAN, F. Sept. 10, 1958 [Sept. 12, 1957], No. 28968/58. Class 81(2) [Also in Group XXIII] In a nail varnish applicator a small tube 11 extends from one end face right through and beyond the other end face of a stopper 6 for insertion into the mouth of a squeeze bottle 3 of resilient plastics to terminate adjacent a bristle tuft 12 extending from the adjacent end face of the stopper. Internally threaded sockets 7, 8 at each end of the stopper allow of it being secured to the bottle with the bristle tuft projecting either into or out from the bottle; The length of the tube 11 projecting beyond the stopper is such that when the tube and tuft extend into the bottle the tube will be entirely above the designed maximum level of the liquid 4 in the bottle. A cup 9 can be secured to the stopper at the exposed end face thereof if required.
