Class 64(3) A combined convector and heat radiating device comprises an externally finned duct 24a surrounded by a casing 18 having an air inlet at the bottom and an air outlet of increased cross-section at the top, a heat reflecting and radiating plate 19 being mounted above the casing. In the form shown the plate 19 also reflects light from a source 20. The upper portion 25 of the casing 18 forms a conical air outlet and also serves to conceal the light source. An air filter 21 and an air control flap (not shown) may be provided.
