Abstract

<PICT:0842182/III/1> An extension handle for a decorator's paint roller or other appliance consists of two arms 1, 8 with hand grips 9, the arm 1 being adapted to have secured to its upper end, the haft of a paint roller or like appliance, the upper end of the arm 8 being pivotally connected to the arm 1 so as to be slidable lengthwise thereof. Slidable on the arm 1 is a sleeve-like bracket 5 provided with a pair of projecting lugs 6 having secured therein a pin 7 on which is pivoted the arm 8. The arms may be telescopic. The upper end of arm 1 carries an internally screw threaded sleeve-like bush having an enlarged head 3, to receive the threaded end of the haft of the roller.
