841,607. Two-part couplings. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. Aug. 15,1958 [Aug. 16, 1957], No. 26297/58. Class 38(1). A torsional knife-shaped contact pin 1,. supported at soldering lug 3 in insulating material 4, with slots 7 to determine the torsional force, so fits into a rigid counter-contact member 2 that the blade is twisted and contact is made under pressure as in Fig. 6. In other embodiments the contact pin may be stationary and the countercontact twisted ; or both movable or the contact pressure applied by an additional torsional spring attached to either member.
