Abstract

841,379. Walls. A. R. V. AKTIEBOLAGET RATIONELL VARUHANTERING. Oct. 3, 1957 [Oct. 3, 1956], No. 31053/57. Class 20(4) [Also in Group XIV] In panelled structures a frame member comprises a web 1 with outer flanges 2, 3 extending outwardly from at least one side of the web and an intermediate flange 6, parallel to the outer flanges, which forms channels for the reception of the edge of a panel 9a and a strengthening member 10, the channels being formed so as to retain the panel and support member in position. As shown flanges 5, 7 and 8 engage corresponding grooves in the panel and strengthening member. Additionally the web 1 and flange 3 are extended to provide a corner frame member, the extension of flange 3 forming the web from which extend flanges 2b, 3b and 6b. Interior panels 12 are shown. In a modification flanges extend from each side of the web 1.
