Abstract
777,313. Drying cabinets. JORDAN, W. Oct. 11, 1955, No. 28901/55. Class 34(2) A vacuum drying cabinet is constructed from units s each consisting of four walls connected together each wall consisting of an iron frame with a pair of members 2, 3 and members 4, 5 and a panel 6 of thin corrugated sheet iron welded thereto. The walls are connected together at the members 2, 3 inclined to the axis a of the unit by welding or air-tight screwing and the members 4, 5 form annular flanges by which the units may be connected together. The panels may be arched to increase pressure resistance and the cabinets are closed at their ends by doors or walls consisting of frames 7 and panels 8. Longitudinal girders 9 facilitate mounting of the units and rails 10 may be provided for transportable supports for the material to be dried.
