841,310. Pill &c. dispensers. AMERICAN HOSPITAL SUPPLY CORPORATION. April 24,1958 [Feb. 14, 1958], No. 13092/58. Class 18. A dispenser 10 for e.g. capsules 20 comprises a moulded plastic body 11 having an annular portion 13 provided with circumferential pockets 19, cover 12 with a depending central hub 21 and an aperture 29 ; the inner wall 14 of the body 11 has an elongated central opening 16, through which is inserted a vertical pin 22 carrying at its lower end a channel member 23 and leaf spring 24 to secure the cover tightly to the body. Relative rotation of the two parts is limited to one direction by means of a spring plate 30 secured beneath the cover 12 which has spring arms 31 for engagement with an annular ratchet 32 formed on top of the wall 14. This ratchet means also holds the parts at each alignment of the aperture 29 and the pockets 19 to deliver successive capsules.
