839,497. Roof drainage. BROADS MANUFACTURING CO. Ltd. Aug. 25. 1958 [Sept. 23, 1957], No. 29830/57. Class 33. A rain-water outlet 11 for a felted roof is formed of a length of piping 12 for connection to the drainage system, a circular receptacle 13 into which the marginal portion of the felt 17 may be pressed, an intervening conical portion 14 and an upstanding annulus 15, an annular ring 18 fastened to the annulus 15 to clamp the felt into the receptacle 13, and an outlet member 20 secured to the ring 18. The ring 18 is fastened to the annulus 15 by screws 16 and has a seating 19 to which the member 20, e.g. a slotted grating is secured by screws 21. Through channels 23 in the annulus 15 any water may drain from the receptacle 13. The grating 20 may be replaced by a domed cover.
