Abstract
A uranium alloy for nuclear reactors has a composition, in per cent by weight, within the following range: Mo 10.0-27.0; U the balance. The alloy may also contain one or both of the metals Ta and W in the range 2.0-6.0. The U may be natural U or it may be enriched in fissile isotopes thereof.
