Abstract
The process of the parent Specification is applied to the coating of non-metallic articles. The articles are milled together with the plating particles and, if desired, additional impacting material such as aluminium-coated iron shot or lead slugs, and an addition substance, such as a plastic, graphite or a heavy metal sulphide, which produces a thin film on the article. The process is described as applicable to the coating of articles made of glass, ceramic, plastic, boron carbide and wood with aluminium, tin and zinc.
