831,779. Making cycle forks. SOC. D'APPAREILS DE CONTROLE ET D'EQUIPEMENT DES MOTEURS S.A.C.E.M. April 2, 1958 [April 5, 1957], No. 10662/58. Class 83 (2). [Also in Group XXXI] A cycle fork is made from a T-shaped blank. The blank is folded in the form of a U on rectilinear lines of folding and then, the arms 16 thus obtained are welded or brazed to the fork tube 1 (Fig. 2). The lower portion of the fork arms may be bent forwardly to receive the wheel spindle (Fig. 1). Fixing holes are formed in the flanges for fixing the engine B, mudguard D and brake E. The flanges of the fork arms are widened opposite the fixing holes and some of these widened parts are displaced by folding out of the plane of the flanges.
