Class 119 The front wall of a rifle magazine is provided with a resilient member 5 to protect the noses of the bullets 9 against damage when the gun is fired and recoil shocks cause the bullets to strike the front wall. The resilient member may take the form of a metal plate resiliently mounted on the front wall by means of springs but as shown the member 5 comprises a pad of oil-resisting rubber or a plastic such as polyvinylchloride.
