829,329. Rotary pumps. APEX CONSTRUCTION CO. Ltd., and PECK, W. C. March 25, 1958 [April 30, 1957], No. 13735/57. Class 110 (2). A rotary pump of the flexible tube type comprises a resilientlymounted pressure-plate 2 for one or more flexible tubes and a series of pressure levers 8 for compressing same which are pivotably mounted inside a cam housing 9 and are driven by a variable-speed drive 12. The pump housing 1 is in two parts 14, 15 interconnected by a quickrelease connection 17 and the loading on the plate 12 can be adjusted by rotating plugs 5.
