[Also in Groups XXIX and XXXVII] A plurality of control members for controlling the duration of a plurality of operations are each actuated by means carried by one of a pair of graduated rotary members adjustable relatively to a support shaft, the actuating means being latched until released by other means carried by the second of the graduated members. As described, a reversible synchronous motor 1, Fig. 1, normally rotates the shaft 4 through gearing 2a-2g, 3 the latter being connected by a friction clutch 6-10 to a gear 5 fixed on the shaft 4. The gear 5 meshes with the outer ring 14, Fig. 2, of a free-wheel one-way clutch 12. Keyed to the shaft 4 are a plurality of annular members 21, Fig. 5, frictionally mounted on each of which is a pair of graduated rotary members 19 angularly adjustable with respect to a reference line 26 on a lug 25 on the member 21. Each member 19 of a pair has a circumferential groove 20 in which dogs 39 and 47 are located by means of grub screws. As the shaft 4 rotates each dog 39 raises a corresponding operating lever 31 which actuates a pilot valve or switch 23. The lever 31 is latched in its operative position by a latch 32 which is subsequently moved by the associated dog 47 to release the operating lever 31. The amount of the rotation of the shaft 4 is indicated by a reference wheel driven from the shaft and viewed through a window. The final operating member 31 of the series actuates a switch to cause the motor 1 to rotate in the reverse direction and the shaft 4 is driven forwardly at greater speed to its zero position through the gears 2a, 2b and the clutch 12. The associated dog 47 then releases the final lever 31 and the cycle of operations begins again or a switch may be operated to stop the motor 1 when the shaft 4 is in the zero position.
