827,156. Conduits. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Feb. 5, 1958 [Feb. 5, 1957], No. 3955/57. Class 36. Rectangular channelsectioned trunking 1 having inwardly turned edges 3 is closed by a cover 4 whose width is not greater than that of the trunking, and which is held by spring means carried by the cover, e.g. by the sides 5 being shaped as shown. Mild steel is preferred for both trunking and cover. Two or more lengths of trunking may be mounted side by side and may be joined, e.g. by welding, and the openings need not all face the same way. Additional channel-sectioned members may be welded to the sides of the trunking to facilitate flush mounting in ceilings, and a supporting stirrup is described. Specification 827,155 is referred to.
