937,624. Conduits. F. W. BLANSHARD. April 19, 1962 [May 2, 1961], No. 15890/61. Class 36. A trunking for cables intended to be recessed into a floor or like surface comprises a base channel member 1 having extension to its sides which are adjustable vertically and horizontally by means of side pieces 2 and 5, a cover 11 being detachably supported between the sides and locked in position to suit the surface. The side members 2 and 5 are secured by screws passing through slots 3 and 6 so that they can be adjusted vertically and horizontally respectively. An L-section member 8 is welded to the base and a vertically adjustable partition 9 is screwed to the member 8. The cover 11, which rests on the flanges formed by the horizontal portions of the side pieces 5, has an obtuse angle section spring strip 12 attached to each side to ensure tight fitting of the cover against the side pieces 5 and is screwed to the flanges.
