826,149. Photographic contact printing apparatus. QUARZLAMPEN G.m.b.H. April 20, 1956 [April 23, 1955], No. 12134/56. Class 98(2) In a photographic contact printer of the type wherein the original and copy materials are transported through the exposure zone by an endless belt 2, the sheets are separated after exposure by a device which comprises driven rollers 6, 7 and a feeler 8, which when contacted by the sheets causes a reversal in the direction of rotation of one of the rollers 6, 7. The exposed sheets are passed by rollers 1 and 6, 7 between the guides 14 and 9, and on contacting the feeler 8 the direction of roller 6 is reversed to that shown by the arrow in Fig. 2. Rollers 6, 7 have rough surfaces which grip the sheets whereby one sheet 3 is formed into a loop by the action of rollers 1 and 6 and is guided out of the apparatus, while the other sheet 4 continues in its original path.
