Abstract
826,046. Rubber sandwich type springs. VOIGT, C. A. Nov. 29, 1956, No. 36498/56. Class 108(3) In a resilient mounting comprising a rubber block 4 bonded to load applying members 1, 2 the block 4 is formed with a hole 8, the axis of which subtends at an edge A of the adherent surface of the member 1, an angle of between 40 degrees and 60 degrees with the adherent surface. In a modification (Fig. 1, not shown) the two members 1, 2 are equal in size and there are two cavities disposed respectively near diagonally opposed corners of the rubber element.
