Class 29 [Also in Group XXVIII] A pipe 24 is sealed in a pipe 32 of larger diameter by passing it through a bush 46 until it is engaged by a rubber or like seal 48 which also lies between the bush and the inside wall of the larger pipe. The bush may be made of plastic, copper, or aluminium. As shown, the tube 24 is a capillary feeding the evaporator 54, the suction outlet of which joins pipe 34 at 38. The junction may also be used where one roll-welded evaporator plate is connected in series by pipes to another.
