A revolving-cylinder pump, of the kind having a plurality of plungers 5 parallel with or inclined to the axis of rotation, and a swash plate 1, faced with a hardened steel sheet 3, to impart an inward movement to the plungers through nylon pads 7. Preferably the pump casing and the cover, on which the swash plate is formed, are made of aluminium or aluminium alloy.
