Abstract

822,526. Hair-curling appliances. GILLETTE CO. May 3, 1957, No. 14149/57. Class 131 A resilient hair curl clip comprises limbs 10, 11 of unequal length connected at their roots by a curved neck 16 and inclined towards each other so that the free end of the shorter limb is in contact with the longer limb, the inner faces of the limbs having projections 17 which are staggered relatively to each other and diminish in height towards the free ends of the limbs. A tooth 19 helps to secure the clip on a curl and the projections 17 diminish in cross-section towards rounded tops. The clip is preferably moulded in synthetic plastic.
