822,396. Road-vehicle spring-suspensions. NYGAARD, T. July 11, 1957, No. 22030/57. Class 108(2) A wheel mounting structure comprises links 3, 4, 5 pivoted together at 8, 9 and to a vehicle or to its chassis at 6, 7, the pivots being parallel to the axis of the wheel. The distance between the pivots 6, 7, is equal to the sum of the length of the end links 3, 5. The swingable end of one link is resiliently supported from the vehicle as by coil springs 10, 11. The link 3 is U-shaped in plan to enclose the wheel and the springs 10, 11 may be positioned on either side of the centre line of the wheel.
