Jan. 31, 1958 [Nov. 2, 1956], No. 33467/56 Class-68(1) Mounted on a power lift linkage of a tractor is a frame 13 carrying a vertical, cylindrical post about which can be rotated a bracket 19 to the bottom of which is pivotally attached about a horizontal axis a boom 15, that is raised or lowered by an hydraulic ram 26 pivotally connected to the tops of the boom and of the bracket. The outer end of the boom is pivotally connected to a shovel-carrying arm 21 intermediate the ends of the arm. A second hydraulic ram 23 lying vertically above the boom is pivotally connected between the arm and the boom for moving the arm relatively to the boom. The first ram lies sufficiently far to one side of a plane containing the second ram and the boom as to clear them when relative movement occurs between the arm, boom and the tractor. A vertically adjustable stabilizing frame is provided on the first frame for engaging the ground when working operations are being carried out.
