Abstract

821,396. Brassieres. WARNER BROS. CO. Oct. 30, 1957 [Nov. 20, 1956], No. 33854/57. Class 141 A strapless brassiere comprises a back section 16 of deposited rubber latex connected at its ends to the front section which includes breast cups 14 of fabric. The end portions 16a, 16b of the back section are each reinforced by a fabric strip 18 embedded in or attached to the inner surface of the latex; the reinforcing fabric is nylon tricot stretchable in the horizontal 'direction. The back section 16 is provided with ventilation holes 21 and its inner surface is flocked as at 17. The breast, cups' are reinforced by stitching or by U-shaped wire stiffeners 15. A sliding clasp fastener 13 is provided at the centre of the front section.
