Abstract
821,165. Track laying machines. KRANBAU EBERSWALDE VEB. Feb. 15, 1957, No. 5225/57. Classes 78(4) and 104 (2). A two-armed trolley track support 4 is tiltably mounted on bearings 3 and platform 2 rotatably mounted on an undercarriage 1, electric doubleacting hydraulic cylinders 5 being hingedly mounted between the support and platform on each side of the support bearings. A trolley 6 is moved along tracks 4a by a cable and winch 7. The trolley hingedly and pivotally supports a track carrier 12 which carries six manually-operable rail grippers and is guided by one flanged guide-roller 14a, 14b at each end co-operating with the under surface of flanges of the trolley track 4a. The guide roller is pressed into engagement by movement of a ball 16 in a channel on the lower side of the track carrier when the carrier is tilted initially or when the trolley track support tilts. The undercarriage has side guide shoes and sliding supports 25 which co-operate with guide shoes 24 at the ends of the platform. The platform has side walls 19 and the undercarriage has end brackets 20. The platform is pivoted by hydraulic cylinders hingedly mounted between the platform and undercarriage.
